Landscape Maintenance Crew Member
Position Summary:
This is an entry level position for residential landscape maintenance; daily tasks are mowing, trimming, edging and weeding customer’s yards and flower beds. This position is based out of East Vancouver Washington (Orchards), with work throughout Clark County.

- General knowledge of landscape maintenance
- Basic knowledge and skills with hand and power equipment used in basic landscape maintenance (mowers, string trimmers, pruners, etc)
- Ability to communicate effectively with others
- Ability to work effectively with strong, diverse personalities
- Strong conflict resolution skills
- Operation and Control of equipment
Education and Experience:
Preferred
- 1 year of landscape maintenance experience
- Fluent in English
- Valid driver license is required for employment
- At least 18 years old
- No criminal record
- Maintain customer’s landscapes including lawns and beds per foreman's, or leads, guidance
- Gather and remove litter or waste
- Use hand tools, such as shovels, rakes, pruning sheers, loppers, hedge trimmers, and other landscape maintenance equipment as needed
- Perform work requiring the use of hand tools, power tools, spray packs and mowing equipment to complete assigned tasks
- Ensure company equipment is operated and maintained properly, including but not limited to initiating any action needed to remedy malfunctioning or unsafe equipment or report any issues to foreman
- Prune or trim trees, shrubs or hedges, using shears or pruners
- General housekeeping of truck and trailer
- Work safely
- Adhere to uniform and PPE (Personal Protection Equipment) guidelines
- Understand and comply with all company policies
- Regular attendance and punctual for scheduled shift
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Physical Demands:

- Able to lift up to 50 pounds, regularly
- Stand, walk, lift, and bend entire shift (8-10 hours)
- Push/guide mower throughout the day
- Climb/step in/out of truck bed
- Carry buckets or bags weighing between 10 and 50 pounds
- Maneuver on foot in all site conditions (muddy, rocky, slope, wet, etc)

- The wage ranges from $18-$28, depending on experience
