Adding bark, mulch, or even river rock, to your garden space has instant results. In Vancouver, Battle Ground, Ridgefield, Camas, etc., adding shredded hardwood, such as Hemlock, adds some instant curb appeal to your property. Colors range from a black to a bright orange, almost red, color. An average home can be transformed in usually a couple or hours with a load of mulch and some wheelbarrows. Larger jobs might require more time or a blower truck.
As a general guide, 2-3 inches is required for bark. 1-inch of bark is not easy to spread, and will show bare spot underneath. Spreading rock is calculated at a 3-inch depth. |
