Is there a cost for an estimate, or are they free?
While we can provide some simple numbers over the phone, or email, for free, site visits are not free. By charging a fee for our proposals, we can allocate the necessary resources to provide you with a comprehensive plan that aligns perfectly with your vision. This approach ultimately saves you time and money in the long run by minimizing unexpected project costs and ensuring a successful outcome.
Why do you charge for an estimate?
- Transparency and Accuracy: We believe in transparency and providing you with the most accurate estimate possible. Offering free estimates can sometimes lead to rushed assessments and inaccuracies that may result in unexpected costs during the project.
- Investment in Quality: When you choose to pay for an estimate, you’re making an investment in the quality of our service. It allows us to dedicate the necessary time and expertise to thoroughly evaluate your project, ensuring that there are no hidden surprises down the road.
- Professionalism: We take our work seriously and want to provide you with the highest level of professionalism. Charging for estimates allows us to maintain the standards you expect from a reputable construction company.
- Serious Commitment: Paying for an estimate demonstrates your commitment to your project, and it helps us identify clients who are genuinely interested in moving forward. This ensures that our time and resources are focused on clients who are serious about their landscape construction needs.
- Customization: Each landscape construction project is unique, and our paid estimates are tailored specifically to your requirements. This customization ensures that your estimate is accurate and aligned with your vision.
- Value for Expertise: Our team consists of experienced professionals who bring their expertise to every estimate. By charging for our estimates, you are recognizing the value of the knowledge and skills we bring to the table.
- Avoiding Low-Quality Bids: Free estimates can sometimes attract multiple low-quality bids, which can make it challenging to distinguish between credible contractors. Paying for an estimate helps you identify contractors who are dedicated to providing quality service.
How much is an estimate?
The cost to get an estimate can vary widely depending on factors such as the complexity of the project, the type of project, and your time-frame. Our price is $100-$500. Smaller projects such as sod, paver patios and water features are closer to the $100. Larger project, like entire outdoor living area, and large recreational swimming ponds, would be the $500 cost.
This cost of the estimate is credited to the project if you choose our company.

Now that I have the estimate, what now?
Once you have our estimate, you can review it to ensure it aligns with your budget and expectations. If everything looks good, you can proceed with hiring us and finalizing the details of the project. If there are discrepancies or concerns, you can discuss them now to make the needed adjustments. Having clear communication and transparency is important throughout the entire process.
